“He has blossomed”

Our son was amongst the first group of kids to start attending Strong Roots. He is our eldest child, and at the time was an only child. I worried about him meeting social milestones as well as learning to trust other trustworthy adults who aren’t related to him. He dealt with some separation anxiety at first, which we fully expected. But ever since, it’s been a breeze and he has blossomed!

Allison is an amazing and patient teacher who is so thoughtful and inclusive for all of her students. A concern my husband and I had was how to navigate our child being a minority in the class when it comes to celebrating certain religious holidays. This proved to be no issue with Allison and her program! She keeps all the activities neutral and nature focused so that no matter what family background the child comes from, they are always included.

Allison was also able to identify that our son had a speech delay, this early identification helped us to get the therapy he needed and in only a few months, he has progressed so positively. I recommend Strong Roots to anyone and everyone who asks me about early childhood education in the area!
