“Fostering Confidence”

We have been so happy with sending our child to Strong Roots. He has always loved to climb, jump, and run, and I am so glad he has a place to continue to develop his body and mind with the guidance of Ms. Allison and with friends with similar interests.

Ms. Allison has fostered his confidence in himself, his creativity, his ability to self-regulate through play and allowing him to make autonomous and safe choices for himself, and his ability to make and maintain friendships. He tells us that he loves to swing in the hammocks at school, read books quietly on his own, pretend play with friends, climb trees, and go on guided wanders in the woods.

He has a lot of rambunctious energy, and I’m so happy he has found a way to channel and regulate it through intentional activities and play, friendship, and challenging but safe exploration of the outdoors. This is also a place we have been able to find a like-minded community of parents raising families that value sustainability, kindness, and connection.
