We found Strong Roots just after our children's old nature pre-school closed, the only one in our area. Allison had been the substitute so we were DELIGHTED when we heard she would be opening her own.
Allison seems to enjoy learning just as much as the kids do! And she certainly fosters our son's curiosity, excitement about learning, and sharing of his findings with the other students.
And honestly, these Strong Roots kids are durable. The physicality of the play has improved my son's gross motor skills (especially climbing, jumping, and stability over rough terrain), risk assessment abilities, and ability to pick himself back up. And I can literally see this change in every child in the program.
